Registration:  Our art classes run one time per week and range from 30 minutes to two hours depending upon age. Call or visit our website for more information.
Description:  We will be offering art classes in 1 month, 3 month, 6 month & 9 month sessions. Students will learn the different elements, principles and concepts of art while utilizing and applying these techniques using various medias in numerous styles of art. Each class will be age appropriate and will contain art history and education, proper techniques and management of art tools. Our monthly art classes are designed to give children hands on experience in a variety of areas. Each month our programs progress to advanced levels as students master the basic skills performing painting, drawing, sculpting, hand built and wheel thrown pottery, pottery glazing, mosaics, and stain glass. Throughout the year, students will have opportunities to display their work through local organizations and at our open studio galleries! We support the individuality of each child and allow children the freedom to explore their own specific interests at whim! Paint the Stars has divided their classes into age appropriate segments for maximum capability. We offer five age categories: Squiggles - Toddler (age 2) Doodle Bugs – Pre-school (age 3-5) Home School – (Ages 6 – 15) Expressionists - School Age (age 6-9) Realists – Intermediate (age 10-12) Classicists – Teens (age 13-15)
