Description:
Seven "splashpads", interactive water play areas on a concrete pad, are open this summer for your enjoyment. These unique play areas spray water from structures or ground sprayers, and the water is then immediately drained away, making it safe for all ages. Splashpads are free for the public to use and are located at the following parks: Fisk, Seymour, Fort Howard, Eastman, Farlin, Bay View & Red Smith.

This 700-acre wildlife refuge is home to more than 3,500 ducks and geese and a native Wisconsin animal exhibit area. Stop in the Nature Education Center, Observation/Rehabilitation Building, Woodland Building, Resch Conservation Wing and Gift Shop. There are 6.2 miles of hiking and cross-country ski trails and many picnic areas. The Sanctuary is a great place to interact with nature. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy including: 6.5 miles of trails to hike or ski, Watchable Wildlife Viewing Areas, Horse-drawn wagon rides, Jr. Naturalist & Jr. Ecologist programs for independent hands-on learning fun.

Centrally located along with Baird Creek Parkway is the Triangle Sports Area. Directions: University Avenue to Humboldt Road, turn right on Baird Creek Road, and right on Beverly Road leading into park.
Triangle Sports Area offers disc golf in the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons and Skiing and tubing in the Winter.
Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and inner tubing are available when snow conditions are a 6-8” sustainable snow base. Facilities include one tubing hill with a rope tow, two ski/snowboarding hills with rope tows and 3.37 miles of cross-country ski trails, heated chalet with restrooms, vending machines and seating for 70.
Wooden, metal or hard plastic sleds, saucers, toboggans, etc. are prohibited.

The Free Throw Tournament started in 1958, and is held every March. Shooters are asked to register through their school. Each school is allowed to send five shooters in each division.
